How to play Avioane

Three hidden aircraft, one coordinate per turn and one mission: find the enemy fleet heads before they find yours.Choose game mode

One aircraft occupies nine cells

The head shows its orientation. The wings are symmetrical, the body continues behind the head, and the tail occupies exactly two side cells.

A complete match

Four steps, the same rules in every mode

  1. 1

    Choose the board

    Use an 8 x 8, 10 x 10 or 12 x 12 grid. Both players use the same size.

  2. 2

    Hide your fleet

    Place three aircraft completely inside the board. Aircraft may touch, but they cannot overlap.

  3. 3

    Attack in turns

    Each player chooses one unattacked coordinate. After the result, the turn passes to the opponent.

  4. 4

    Destroy the fleet

    An aircraft is destroyed when its head is hit. The first player to destroy all three enemy aircraft wins.

The coordinate contains no aircraft part.

Hit

The coordinate contains a wing, body or tail.

Head hit

The aircraft is destroyed and its complete shape becomes visible.

Choose how to play

Against the computer

Play solo on easy or medium difficulty. Your active match and statistics stay on the device.

Two local players

Share one device. Handoff screens hide fleets and results between turns.

Online with a friend

The private room uses an invitation code. The server validates fleets, turns, attacks and the winner.

About online rooms

Your fleet stays secret

Your opponent receives only their own attack results. Your full arrangement is never sent to their session.

The room can be recovered

The room link stays on the device. After signing in, the game restores the state held by the server.

Interruptions are visible

The room reports when the opponent stops responding and keeps trying to reconnect.
